Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting variety earned her acclaim across many genres ranging from period drama to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father, an architect, and mother who produced. Hunter was the twin of their younger sisters. By the time she was seven years old, her love of acting was growing. She began to audition for commercials. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and afterwards took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further refine her skills. She made her debut as an actress on film in North (1994) when she was nine. When she was eight years old, she appeared with Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson appeared next in Just Cause (1996), but she was Manny & Lo 1996 that gave her her breakthrough. The movie is about two girls orphaned by their parents who have fled to escape. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an incredibly tragic accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. She became famous for portraying Nell Jones, the CBS popular series NCIS Los Angeles. She is one of its main characters. Apart from her work in the show, she has also been an actor on stage for a number of years. Her performances were stunning in Wildflower as well as other stage productions. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age at a very early age. She was a performer since she was young. Smith got her debut acting job at the young age of 6 with her parents' support. Smith was in an Dannon commercial for television. As many new actresses, she chose to develop her skills in theater. She was involved in various productions within the USA in the midst of making her stage debut. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
